4-H Educational Displays, Home Arts and Horticulture

Kids Zone and Mother’s Room:
We will have a kids zone where parents/guardians can bring there little ones. It will be a safe contained area with some toys and colouring. You can sit and relax for a little bit out of the sun before heading out there again. We will also have a Mother’s Room provided by C.S.T. Consultants. You will have access to a private room for any needs you require with little ones.
Commercial Vendors, Crafters/Artisans, Educational Displays

Come on over to see a large selection of products being sold by vendors. On display, will also be some non-profit organizations and educational booths. As well, crafters and artisans will now be displayed and selling their amazing, homemade items. Prince George has some truly talented artists.
We will also have our Quilting Display here! Check out the amazing talent from those in your community.
Are you interested in trying curling? We will have a floor curling set up here in this building for anyone to try!

Heavy Horse Pull:
The heavy horse pull has been at the BCNE for over 30 years and is one of the more popular events drawing out large crowds of spectators. These horses are stunningly beautiful and HUGE! Come out and watch the draft horse event to witness these horses perform with incredible power, style and grace.
Canadian Horses:
The Canadian Horse was named the National Horse of Canada by an act of Parliament in 2002. Currently considered “at risk” by The Livestock Conservancy, Prince George is very fortunate to have a small number of these magnificent horses. They will be on display and preforming demonstrations daily at the fair. Come and visit the horses in their barn, talk to the owners and riders and find out why this amazing horse has earned the name, “Little Horse of Iron”.

Pre-sale wristbands are available at Save-on-Foods and the BCNE office for $32.00 until August 13 which is a savings of 20%.
Wristbands on location can be purchased for $40.00.

*All rides are between 3-7 coupons. Please note that children under 2 years of age, children under 36 inches, and pregnant persons are not permitted to ride any ride.*
**Weather Permitting** Wristbands will be valid from open to close. Wristband sales will start at noon and will be cut off at 8:30pm daily. On Sunday, wristband sales will be cut off at 4:00pm.
4-H youth leaders and their families work hard all year long to be able to showcase their achievements at the annual BCNE. This program is for youth aged 6 to 25 years old. We have a huge variety of project selection such as beef, sheep, swine, rabbit, cake decorating, outdoor living, llama, goat and more! Check out the 4-H barn, auction date and tune in to watch the kids during showmanship. Show your support by supporting future local farmers at the BCNE 4-H events!

Ryan is a chainsaw carver from Williams Lake. He will be carving for the duration of the fair intermittently. Check out his awesome carvings when you come to the BCNE.
